Young Artists of Miami
Meet Miami's local young artists! These talented individuals are fresh faces in the art world, ready to create and wow Miami!
Lauren Arriaga is a Miami native, and is currently a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. At SCAD, she has explored different mediums and honed in on her talents. Lauren loves to experiment with her art and push boundaries. Though she works with various mediums, her passion lies with illustration and painting. In her work, Lauren's Cuban roots shine through with her use of vibrant colors and edgy styles. She has showcased her art in different Miami art shows and loves to show her work on her art instagram as well. This summer, Lauren will be working as an Art Curator for ArtDecemberMiami.co providing new art content!
Paulette Martinez is a diligent 15-year-old student and a part of Miami Arts Studio's Entertainment Law program. Although studying law is her goal, art and writing are a part of her soul. She is currently a member of the National Art Honor Society. This has allowed her to participate in several opportunities, such as creating logos and coloring books for children in hospitals. These wonderful opportunities have paved the way to where she is now, creating a special children's comic book for her internship. "I truly believe passions such as art are not just "hobbies" but a way of life, a story waiting to be told."
